Biryani Hub - A concept Store which collects all biryani under one Roof |
For lunch, one of the easy option for a family is to order a biryani through Swiggy or Zomato. It could be a Sunday when the household decides to keep kitchen closed, not to do the usual razzmatazz.
But, given the scores of options to select a biryani, the task itself becomes daunting! Well, one way to select a store which has good rating, but what about the ones near your home, which can be picked without paying all the extra changes.
And, when I rode my way to Vempalavattom to buy biryani from a place recommended by a person, I was thinking is such an option would work.
Biryani Hub in the Heart of Trivandrum!
Imagine if a person decides to pick biryani from multiple stores ( probably 20 stores) and also meals from other stores! Will that work?
Probably NOT! One issue could be the cost of collecting from different other stores and keeping one distribution point. In that case the margin is lost. Only option is this - if this collecting agency has an active Whatsapp, with a instant feedback mechanism, also, FREE home delivery inside 2 km, then it might work! It MIGHT WORK!
Imagine, such a store near Medical College area or Vellayambalam! So, for the customer they don't have to pay all the GST and service charges!
Also, along with the options for different biyani, they can also sell their home-made biryani too!
So, the modus-operandi is this, this Biryani Hub will stock 20 or 30 biryani from each major biryani sellers ( Zam Zam, Asife, Asad, etc) and stock it for distribution. The people who order biryani can see the stock left.
The sale starts from 12PM till 2PM.
This might work, if this place in offering more selection and some hot other side dishes which this shop can add on to this! Also, it could also bring biryani of other home cooks, which they can check for taste and quality! So it's an instant visibility for home chefs who are good cooks.
And, the USB, should be - get Biryani at a good price and under 10 minutes. This will not be applicable to location within 2 km. So, start such a biz in a spot which has more biryani order per square km.
Also, what problem does it solve NOW?
These days if you think of ordering from Swiggy between 1 PM and 2:PM the chance of you waiting at least for 20 minutes is a norm. It's b'cos it's a rush hour and all the delivery boys are busy. So, the question is - Can the new app solve this? Can they fill the gap in the market with a quick delivery option?
What you say?
P.S - Imagine if I want Chicken Biryani from Zam Zam, Beef Biryani from Grandios, or Chicken Fry from Palayam Taj or Liver Fry from there. ( What if I can get all these from one stop).
Just thinking!
