Here's the possible solution which is a just a one minute prompt from me. If I as a layman can provide such a feedback, I'm sure the team at GAIL who's in charge of usability, design, etc can make a big difference.
GAIL - I visited the GAIL Gas website. Here’s a step-by-step approach to improve its user interface (UI) and usability:
1. Simplify the Layout
Current Issue: The layout feels cluttered with excessive menus, text, and graphics competing for attention.
Fix: Use a clean and minimalistic design. Prioritize important sections and reduce unnecessary elements.
Reduce the number of menu items. The common accepted standard is seven.
2. Enhance Navigation
Current Issue: Menus are not intuitively categorized, making it hard for users to find key information.
Fix:
Implement a hierarchical menu with clear labels like Services, About Us, Consumer Support, and Careers.
Add a search bar with predictive text for easy access.
3. Improve Visual Appeal
Current Issue: Outdated visuals and inconsistent use of colors/fonts make the site feel unpolished.
Fix:
Adopt a modern design with a consistent color scheme aligned with GAIL's branding.
