Second Chances - Free Underwear Project

| Fresh Underwear To People |
I liked the concept of Second Chances and wish someone here brings similar concept to life. I remember the time I had to live with few underwear. Meaning, I have to be careful to check if I'm getting fresh ones to wear on a daily basis. Well, it was not very less, though. Still, the cycle of washing the used underwear, drying it and then getting it back to my closet (cupboard) will take its own time. So, I didn't have much reserve undies in hand.
However, Covid changed everything. I had the money to buy a dozen more to the collection. From that time on, I hardly ever run out of fresh ones, even on days when I change around 3 underwear in a day!
Blessing of Having choices
When we have a certain blessing, why don't we think of the people around who are not so fortunate of having such choices. It could be underwear or basic clothes, or a shelter, or a job or an income for studies or holiday or to buy fresh bed sheet or a space...whatever! For this post, we focus only on yfront ( underwear project)
Fresh Underwear!
Given the tropical climate of our place, I'm sure that many people in Trivandrum or elsewhere in India, couldn't have the choice to change to fresh ones daily. Probably, it will be the ones with holes which many men will be walking around or even worse the soiled ones!
Talking about holes in underwear, I too have one or two like that. But, I love those as it gives good comfort.

Btw, I was thinking of this - just like the minimum income for all, everyone around should have a dozen underwear in their cupboard. Sounds, a bit weird! I find it liberating!
What about starting a non-profit where people contribute to buy underwear's to people who can't afford that! What if we each one of us donate one or more on a monthly basis to people who are less fortunate.
