Recently I went to Sree Moolam Club in Vazhuthacaud ( SMC) along with a friend. It was a weekday.. At the bar, we selected a corner seat where I could see the people around, and the great view of this heritage club. There were few people sitting with a drink or two.
After couple of drinks, I went to relieve myself in their look. And, behold, it was one of the cleanest and dry loo I have seen in the recent past. Well, the loo inside PVR in Lulu mall is super clean. However, I never expected such a clean one in a club. ( Thank to the hands behind such cleanliness) ๐

Btw, who's going to invite me as a guest at SMC? Btw, I didn't see females in the bar at SMC. Is it the norm or does females come here for a drink? Just curious!
Curious Konnections
P.S - We had mathi fry ( Sardine), Vala fry ( Ribbon Fish) fry, boiled eggs, salad for starters. I liked chala or mathi. And, when I wanted to repeat the order, it was over.
My question to other bar owners in Trivandrum and elsewhere is this - why don't you have mathi in your menu. If you think it's a low priced thing, then you can do something to add more value and sell it. For instance, you can strip away the bones, and sell it as mathi fillet with pepper and onions!
And one more thing, pls don't over fry it. Medium fry is how the taste of the flesh is retained. Alos, if your customers prefer deep fried one, then you can try serving two variations.
Also, you can try mathi wrapped in banana leaf and fried! Just saying.
