Let me be optimistic for this post, even though I'm mostly a bearish person! Well, let me come to the point! Recently, Fodor has put Kerala on No Visit list.
So, what's the big deal! Well, It's a BIG DEAL!
Fodor's Travel is a travel resource that offers advice, recommendations, and information for travelers: So, if an agency like this puts a state in a No List, means, we've got a black-mark! And, this would result in many travelers skipping our place as their recommendation will be taken at phase value.
What can we be do Now?
Now that we are in the 'No List', what's the next thing to be done? Well, only way out is to reexamine our strategy, our commitment to initiate eco-friendly activities, make our state more clean in all areas - from our KSRTC bus terminals to boat jetty, road side, beaches, offices, houses, etc.
So, here's the mega plan! It's a mega plan which will require massive funding. However, we can start slow, with daily incremental growth, we can slowly achieve the growth momentum!
Big trouble? Or Big Opportunity for Kerala!
First let's see what all fronts we have to grow or progress or improve:
1. Cleanliness
2. Environment
3. Service
4. Infrastructure
5. Attitude and facilities
