At last, I finished this book at room no 206 at Paris Mount Hotel at Malappuram. What a joy to finish reading a book which was shuttling between by bedroon and loo for a long time. So, long that once it got wet as I left it below the comode.
So, what are the points I can recollect?
1. Avoid competition ( 99% of the biz is in competition)
2. How to avoid competition ( By fulfilling a need in a very unique way)
3. Start in a small market. Prove it there and then go to capture your segment
But a valuable business must start by finding a niche and dominating a small market.
Hundreds of undifferentiated products all in the name of one overbroad goal.
Geat companies have secretes: specific reasons for success that other people don't see
Our tasks today is to find singular ways to create the new things that will make the future not just different, but better -- to go from 0 to 1.
The essential first step is to think for yourself
