| Dirty and filth in front of an ATM |
The unkept footpath in from of an ATM near GG Hospital is not an unusual sight. We Indians are used to dirty, drainage waste, spit, plastic waste all strewn on the road. In fact, any public is also a place for throwing garbage. Another troubling attitude we have inherited en masse is the attitude of compete disregard to what's outside of one's house or compound!
I guess it was something we Indians has developed quite recently. Probably, more so after 90's when we embraced golobalization concepts. This triggered a flow of money, freedom and power of the individual.
What's beyond our apartment, house, bungalow, street, shop is not our biz! Btw, as I typed bungalow, I remembered of a colleague who use to like dak bungalow curry and Railway Chicken!
