Someone forwarded a video of a tourist sitting on the elephant and getting a shower. It looks like such kind of experiences is what set's one resort more engaging than another one.
Probably, if you're running a resort, you can provide such intimate experiences too:There could be many such things which you can plan in your resort, depending on the availability of things. For example, if there's a lake or backwater area, then you can make a large swing and make tourist people play around in that swing. It's fun for people who are looking for such activity.
Or you can teach them how to climb a coconut tree, or open a coconut, or plant a banana tree, or cut a ripe plantain from the tree, etc.
All, you need is to look for local resources and use them for the benefit of the tourists in your resort.
