A Good Mantra for Life - Leave the Place Better than You Found!

 

Leave the Place Much Better than What You Got

Leave the Place in a better way! This concept could be taken up schools in Kerala! What say? What if we teach budding minds to learn this philosophy. 

1. Clean the bathroom ( Teach kids to take responsibility of cleaning the bathroom)

2. Organize and tidy a part of their house ( If not bathroom, they can take responsibility of a small task. It could be a cupboard where they keep  the toys or books, or it could be shelf or any small cleaning task) Then them to share the pics after making it in order. 

3. Clean a public space (Group activity by students on a consistent basis)

For example, there are two schools in Kumarapuram. One is Govt school and another is Mariyan Villa. What if, one of the school decides to take care of the bus stand which is next to the St Pious Church. This bus stop is mostly unkept, with all kinds of notices, dust on the floor. 

The high school kids can take up this project and do it as a team ( at least twice a week)

What if the parishioners of St Pious church takes a proactive step to clean this bus stop! Act to goodness is everywhere, even at the door step of the church.
