Homestay License in Kerala
Well, I'm planning to let out a part of our house for home-stay. The plan is to earn some side-income.
But, I have head that getting a license from the Tourism dept is cumbersome. There're so many legalities, forms, verification, etc.
Here, I just wish there was an agent whom I can pay some money to outsource this task. Also, the agent will give me correct direction on where to apply or they will apply on my behalf and give me guidance on the process, time for processing, the pre-requisites for getting license.

Btw, can Kerala Govt come-up with an audacious goal to provide a massive training program for would be homestay owners about various aspects of starting homestay?
Can govt start a scheme to promote homestay concept in tourists spots?
How about adding 10K homestays in the year 2025?
What about giving recognition for the best homestay experience award?
Imagine if 10K new homestays starts in tourists spots all across Kerala - from Kovalam to Bekal Fort area! Imagine the income generation potential?
What if a finance institution, like Canara Bank create a package for home owners to convert a part of the house for home-stay, there by adding income potential for the middle class folks in Kerala.
How about creating a comprehensive plan to bring more tourists to Kerala shores with the collective power of people in Kerala as facilitators?
How can we generate additional 50 crore income from tourism, aka through homestays?
Places in Kerala which have untapped potential to woo tourists and BnB facility through homestays?
