A freind suggested me to start something life taskrabbit, but using a Facebook group. He said, there are many households who would require cooks or maids during evening party or function at home. So, he was telling me to try a biz to such audience. 

He told that taskrabbit a site in US has many such gigs. And, here in India too we similar service like Urban Clap or HouseJoy, etc in cities like B'lore. If you check sites like Urban company, the services where they provide electricians, plumbers, beauty care, movers, deep cleaning, etc.  However, waiting in line tasks or getting people to stand in a queque was not listed on the site. 

Waiting in Line - What all tasks can be done in Kerala

1. Visit Village or Taluk office or any govt office to follow up on a paper or to follow-up on the application processing. ( Tharam Mattal or LRM application, pokuvaravu, etc)

2. Get booze from BEVCO counter and get it delivered. ( Probably, around each booze centre a group of auto drivers can take up this task or even bike taxi service folks can take up) Check out the legal or approval part from authorities!

3. Stand in the line at a OP counter in Medical College and get an early admission or OP ticket

4. Wait in line at the railway counter to get Talkal Ticket. ( Some people wait from previous night at the booking counter to get the first talkal ticket)


Do You Think We Need Such a Service in Kerala or India?

Yes, very much. In many places, we Indians are known to stand in a line ( queque) to get things done. So, here's a suggestion to service providers like Urban Company or HouseJoy to start something on these line. 

Whatsapp Group of Auto Drivers in Each Junction & Notice Board

I've been thinking of creating a whatsapp group and a notice board of auto drivers in Kumarapuram junction. Also, a group for truck and pickup drivers in this area. For example, in Kumarapraum junction there's an unofficial space where pickup tempo drivers park and wait for prospective customers.

Once it happened that on a Sunday I needed a small pickup auto to shift things. So, being a Sunday, there was no pickups seen in the usual area. Then I had to ask few other shopkeepers to get a contact number. It was such a hassle to get a pickup driver on Sunday. So, to make things easy, transparent, a Whatsapp group or a notice board help both the customers and drivers to get biz. The notice board or the Whatsapp group will have the list of  auto or pickup auto drivers, their contact phone number and the availability. 

I seen auto parked at Mananatha Junction, also at Perrorkada, at GPO junction ( Pullimoodu) and many other spots.

Can you sponsor a Notice Board in your Locality?
