Adjectives used by Builders in their Adv

Pearl Apartment at Kumarapuram

While driving past Kumarapuram junction, I thought of this....when will I see underwears and underskirts in this apartment balcony! Sheee!

Oh, I was just kidding. But, then that's the reality of most apartments. Imagine, you stay in a big fancy apartment and when you open your window for some fresh air, the most often sight from the next apartment balcony is the sight of fluttering red and blue under wears!

I often wish that there's a better way to dry clothes, at least in high end apartments above 2cr.
What if they make a small room with grills so that the outsiders won't see the dirty linen! I guess there might me such provisions. Also, the placement of air conditioners outdoor unit too can be planned during construction so that it's kept is a easy spot for fixing, and away from the window.

Why are we like this?

Well, we Indians are used to such sight of underwear hanging on the cloth line and there's nothing awkward about it - be it a 70k apartment or 2 crore ones. It's better to have the tolerance for such things!

Codie Sanchez Newsletter Content

Codie Sanchez Newsletter Screen Shot

This is what most people would have in their mind.... Hoping, one day, to stumble upon a well oiled, turnkey business that runs itself while you sip a Negroni by the pool....😁

Btw, do you subscribe to any newsletter? What kind of blogs do you read or plan to read?

I have a plan to read 10 blog in the morning. But so far, I have reached only 5 or 6. And, that too not consistent. As far the newsletter goes, I read Codie Sanchez, Chris Borgan, Tim Ferris, Dan Kennedy, Remit Sethi, and Stan Dahl / Marketing Rebel Report.

And there are many more which comes into my in-box, which hardly gets opened.

Pre-fabricated Houses ( For Tourists in Kerala)

Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHTpHcokyX8

Came across this YouTube channel where a young lady plays music from the DJ console and the young fella goes around filming. As he takes a tour outside the house perched on hill, surrounded by grass and trees. What a great sight and a wonderful clean house.

The design looks simple as it gels with the outside space. Seeing it, I feel we in Kerala could use similar kind of houses for guests and travellers.

Imagine, such houses by the side of the hill overlooking Munnar tea gadens or a house facing the Arabian sea by the side of Varkala area.

Wish somone takes leadership in making pre-fabricated houses, primarly aimed for tourists. Also, banks can fund the entire project. Well, income if bank become a key player in promoting such projects. Also, it will help private individuals to market their home stay to the outside world using their network or using other channels like Booking.com or Trivago, etc.

Idiappam Sale in Kumarapuram! Breakfast Dishes

New Project - Breakfast Takeaway

I took this short clip while idiappam was made in the kitchen. I liked the way it came. Taking incentive from this clip, let me dive more into the art of making short food clips.

Next on the agenda: learn to add music, interesting sub-titles, caption, etc.

Manna Mornings - Breakfast Only Takeaway

Manna Morning ( A breakfast Only Takeaway counter)

One day while taking shower, I had another fresh idea. It was about making and supplying breakfast on Sunday morning. Yes, I then I thought it was a great idea and and was going on talking about it. The first version of this plan was to make appam, chappati, beef stew, veg stew and egg stew.

Target audience - Elderly church goers who wish to get homely food on Sunday morning

Those who love beef stew and appam combination

People who are lazy to get into the kitchen on a Sunday!

( Above three category would be buyer persona for this project)

After thinking of this, I thought I should extend the breakfast for three days a week. One day it could be idli, sambar and cutney, next it would be Idiappam and gravy and on Sunday it can be appam combo.

Well, I haven't started on this, but I liked the plan on paper.

Just imagine, if I can sell some 10 or 12 packs in the monring! It would give me an incentive to buy fish ( money from sale), give some extra money to the lady help and give me a ground to make delight customers with my service.

Btw, this plan is not just for me. I think, any good cooks can extend their kitchen breakfast menu to the locality. Imagine, earning at least some money in the morning. Such a system of making good homely food and serving to local audience can work in these places.

1. If the house is near a railway station or bus stop then a small board can get customers to your doorstep. ( Houses which are located near Kochu Veli railway station has potential of using this)

2. People staying close to religious centres ( Eg, Vettucadu area, Brahmins staying near Padijarekotta ( Service fresh idli, sambar and filter coffee, )

3, Households near government offices, Technopark, etc can covert a part of their house to a food hall. There's one such place which is popular with technopark Phase 3 office. The restaurant/house is called Utharadam. ( They have wonderful meals)

4. Sell pothi choru to railway commutters ( in major railway stops, like Kottayam). Start with a Whatsapp group, with few contact. Provide 100% tasty kottayam fish curry, beef or duck. Give threse options. So, a person who is reaching Kottayam railway station by train or reaching by other conveyance can message the group and book. The patron will pack the food and get it delivered, either in the station, or deliver it inside the train as per the direction.

Imagine, the beauty and delight of having fresh Kerala food while you're travelling to B'lore or Kasargod!

More options are there...I'm stopping here
