Why should a Young Person in 2024 Work in a Bank?
I just visited a near by bank. The bank counter staff were all young recruits, full of enthusiasm, on their learning curve. Yes, they were in their 20's or early 30's. And, while I waited to get another enhancement to my gold loan, I was listening how the bank manager ( another young chap) was trying to pacify an irate person who in his 70's was going non-stop about a service delay! Whatever the shit, the young people behind the counter had to go through all these freaking aspects of this job. But, yes, there are many who loves such kind of job! And, I thought and I wondered why there's a big demand for bank job among young people, people with so much talent, skills in their life? Is it b'cos, jobs are scarce? There are few obvious answer to the question why the young folks are working as cashier, clerk and as bank manager: 1. Salary is good in a bank ( my guess) 2. Bank job gets respect and status ( Not much questions asked) 3. Good value in the marriage market ...
