When was the last time you got impressed with a waiter? Waiters, Managers - Note This! I'm not sure If I'm the only one feeling this way about waiters in most hotels ( big and small). One thing I have noticed is that it's very difficult to get their attention of waiter to the table. ( to place order for additional item or a refill or tissue.) It looks like they are in another world, quite distant and walk around as if their only job is the be around and appear busy. (Btw, it's not for all waiters) I know there are few remarkable waiters but off late I haven't see any lately!) Questions to waiters and Hotel managers/owners What is it so hard for waiters to look around? Why do they have tunnel vision? How loud should we shout to get their attention? Why is most service crappy even when we pay tips? What will motivate waiters to serve food with a smile? When a guest leaves the table do they the courtesy to smile or show the door? Is is hard to smile? Is the job not...
