Malappuram - City Centre Malayala Manorama is lucky have it's name at Malappuram city centre. It's name is on this circular structure right at the heart of Malappuram city. It's right on the middle of the road, right opposite to KSRTC depot at Malapuram, a point almost everyone crosses to reach Calicut or Trichur or Manjeri I'm not sure when it was constructed or what purpose it was created, but this stands as a icon of the city like many other landmarks. Make Every Arch, Monument Memorable! Long back while I was working at Malapuram and I used to think how Malayala Manorama can make this structure a centre piece or make it a talking point! Here's how! 1. Keep lights which will illuminate this structure at night. ( preferably run on solar) ( And just like we see in Burj Khalifa, it can showcase different theme color based on special days).
