India set to Start 211 (poverty hotline) Call or Essential Community Services | Hindustan Way
While browsing, I read a comment on reditt about a reference to hotline service for people in United States. Oh, that's a cool idea for implemention in India. Probably, Mr Modi should be informed of such a cool idea. Imagine, a phone number where any Indian can dial for help - the topics are listed down. It's a good feeling that there's always someone you can reach out when you're seeking help! Well, the question is how can a nation as big as India provide a listening post to hear their grievances! I feel that can be done. At least that could be tried out! The whole idea is creating a 24/7 call centre with a unique national number. Just like we have 100 for police, this number is for people to call and get support for many their life's issues. Imagine, a map of India, where most of the needs of the poor people are posted in a geographical way. In that way, what can happen is that people in that locality can volunteer to fulfill the needs.
