Situational Awareness Mode in Cars
Screen grab of crash on YouTube I guess it won't be long, when cars on the road will be way more smarter than just mechanical boxes. Well, I mean it will be way much smarter than the current Tesla cars. In fact, the cars will have in built AI systems which will take control of the driving when there's a risky driving behavior or situation and guide the car to a safe spot. For example, anti collision system, or systems which will slow down the car when a driver accidentally slams the gas pedal. I thought of this after reading about a car c ollision which came in newspaper couple of weeks back. It happened in Kochi, when a person who test drove, lost control of the car and rammed into another car from the opposite side and then it crashed to another high-end Benz car.
